Namgyal Monastery Institute of Buddhist Studies, President, Board Members and Staffs along with the Tibetan Association of Ithaca, invite you to join for the 2nd year Anniversary Celebration for the visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Namgyal Monastery Institute of Buddhist Studies, Ithaca, NY and 2nd year Anniversary Celebration of His Holiness the Dalai lama Library and Learning Center in Ithaca.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
8:45am - Incense Burning Ceremony at Library and Learning Center
–Pavilion.
9.00am - Welcome by Ngawang Dhondup.
9.05am - 10:00am -The Prayer ceremony will be led by the Namgyal Ven: Monks
9:15am - Traditional Tibetan Butter Tea, Sweet Tea and Ceremonial Sweet Rice.
9:30 am - Arrival of Chief Guest – Robert G. Cantelmo -Mayor of Ithaca.
10:15am – 10:40 Eight Verses of Mind Training recitation by Ithaca Tibetan Children both in Tibetan and English
10:40 am – 10:55am - Introductory talk on the significance of the day by Ven, Tenzin Choesang - President of Namgyal Monastery.
11:00 - 11: 20 am - Speech by Chief Guest – Mayor - Robert G. Cantelmo
11: 20 -11:30am - Vote of Thanks by Deana Bodnar – Board Member.
11:30 - 12:00am - Scarf Offering at His Holiness the Dalai Lama Throne.
12:00 - 1:00pm - Lunch from Namgyal Monastery to everyone.
