Emptiness and dependent arising as well as their relationship are central to Buddhist philosophy and practice.  Rooted in Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings, commentaries by the Great Nalanda Masters such as Nagarjuna, Buddapulita and Chandrakirti as well as Tibetan Masters such as Tsongkapa and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama explained in fine detail the logic, reasonings and analytic methods for understanding the correct view of emptiness and its relationship to dependent arising.  Developing a deep understanding of emptiness and dependent arising requires ongoing study and contemplation of these views as well as the practicing analytical meditation methods to achieve their integration and realization within one’s mind.

During this weekend intensive, Geshe-la will provide teachings on the view of emptiness and its relationship to dependent arising along with meditation methods that enable deeper understanding.

This is an excellent opportunity for students new to Buddhism to be introduced to foundational concepts and methods for analytic meditation on emptiness and dependent arising, and for more experienced students to further deepen their understanding and practice.
